Yeah, I'm sorry.
Mar. 13th, 2008 12:05 amBut I saw this on LP and I think it's pretty cool.
I figured out a possible solution to the bill situation. Of course, it involves the debt getting worse before it gets better, but in the end, I would only owe money to two people, and one of them would be myself, so it's not so bad (I hate owing to my friends. Hate it like Kefka hates everything). And the other person, well, I just have to ask (and considering my track record for reliability with respect to paying certain people what they're owed, it shouldn't be a problem). Should only be a couple of days before I get the chance.
(Unfortunately for me, now is NOT the best time to quit my job (or worse), but I feel more negative pressure every day (but the practice resignation letter I wrote is very nice and scathing! :D). :/ Rock... hard place.)
Of course, I only thought of this idea after the banks had closed, and any checks I'd've written would have had to go out yesterday to maybe get where it needed to be on time. So, late fees. D: I think it's going to get pretty bad, though, since LIJ doesn't like letting me know things until it's way too late to do anything about them. :::rolls eyes:::
Okay, iTunes, I get it. Sad musics. Shut up.
My room is a mess. XD But my book is lovely (it's been a week and I'm only halfway through it, bleargh!). And I had a fabulous time with Lynda yesterday, even if Arty and Basty made me start to cough a bit after a while (Lynda's currently reading the same book that I am, which is why I thought to mention her). I helped her move some stuff into her new apartment yesterday -- and my shoulders are on FIRE today as a result -- and we christened her new plates and stove and utensils by making dinner. It wasn't anything special, she did most of the work, the meat was a little tough, and my hands STILL smell faintly of garlic, but it was very yummy and filling. And she's not keeping her dishes kosher, so I don't have to worry about grabbing the wrong utensils like I do at her parents' house! Plus, I spent time with my oldest friend, who I love like a sister.
Well, like a normal person would love his sister. Because my sister... meh. Not exactly the most inspiring person in the world. But that's another post.
I actually think Lynda lives closer to me now than she did when she was in Little Neck. (According to Mapquest, yes, she does. By a little over 3/4 of a mile. XD) I could still take two buses nearly end-to-end, but now it would require far less walking, and none of it on a long, steep uphill!
It's pretty late, but I took a nap. Suppose I'll get more reading done. :3
