Oh yeah, this thing.
Mar. 17th, 2008 12:13 amSo, happy St. Patrick's Day.
Um, I've been kinda MIA since Thursday night, haven't I? Ah, well, it was worth it. I was up late working on my shield, then I got some rest. Woke up around eleven and read until Phill showed up. We eventually got something to eat and then headed out for a comedy show. We saw Frank Caliendo, and he was amazing. I lost count after about six impersonations, and there were at least a dozen more after that. And even the opening guy, George Canter, was pretty good, too. ^_^ My favorite part, though, was at the end of the act. Frank mentioned how he and George would be selling CDs, signing autographs, and taking pictures in the lobby after the show. "Yeah, we're whores. You can call me Kristen." I knew the Bush and Clinton and Madden impersonations were coming, but I didn't expect that. XD I'd've gotten the CD or an autograph, but the place was so flooded with people -- and stupid people, LI and Jersey brats -- so I just wanted to get out as quickly as I could.
Phill and I got something else to eat after the show -- because I was really thirsty for whatever reason -- and came back home and fell asleep.
Saturday, I just wasted time. I slept and read and painted the back of my shield a bit.
Yesterday, I had work, which was kinda boring. WHY IS ARBY'S CLOSED. At least I saw someone walk into the glass doors. That made me feel a little bit better, even if POS wasn't working, and I wasted a half hour trying to figure out what was wrong, to no avail. I'm starting to think that it might stand for something other than "Point of Sale." >.>;;
Upcoming this week is ANIME BOSTON and for the first time since the first time, I get to go up on Thursday. YES! Of course, this means I've got to work lots on my shield over the next two days.... ^_^;; Looks as though the lineup'll be Link, Locke, and Dominic, most likely in that order. I don't wanna bring Dominic, since he's come along since '06, but it's only gonna be in the low 40s, so it's probably a good idea to bundle up, and I don't have anything else (well, there's Cid, but I'm bringing Locke, so... no). I should probably go dig around and see what else I've got. >.>;;
Haven't made an OUNCE of progress on my other costumes, especially not Tetra or Watertribe!Sokka. Holy crap, I-Con is in two weeks. :/
