I left the house today. SHOCK!
My brother jumped in the shower before I did, so I was later than I had intended to be, but my timing was still great. When I walked to the first bus stop, bam. The bus was right there. The transfer went smoothly as well.
Olua and I saw Wall-E at Loews Levittown today. It was, as Olua put it, "vaguely depressing." Screw that, it was HORRIBLY depressing! Though Pixar wins yet again. (Eight bucks for a movie?! THE SHIT?!)
After the movie, we hit up the mall, and we didn't have to wait long for those buses, either. :O The first thing we did was eat, and we split a taco salad. We meandered to Dylan's, where I promptly dropped sixteen bucks on candy (it's been a while since I had gummies, okay?!), and then went over to Hot Topic, where we each spent thirty dollars. I found a Kuromi throw and pillowcase similar to the Chococat ones I have (which means I'll have to get new sets of sheets to go with them), and Olua found awesome pants that, coincidentally, matched the shirt she wore today. And they were on sale!
We needed to hit up Bath and Body works for free lotion because I suffered from itchy, and on the way, we passed Teavana. Free tea, all right. Not only was the tea really delicious -- NO SUGAR and I loved it! -- the one that I chose was called "Jasmine Dragon." I was amazed and very sad I didn't have my camera.
One more loop through the mall brought us through Build-A-Bear, GameStop, KB Toys (where we met a single-serving friend who chitchatted with us about PKMN), and the Disney Store (where we sang "Under The Sea" very loudly but it was lots of fun so MEH), and then we were back to Teavana and B. Dalton and out the door.
I'd just missed my bus so Olua stuck around with me until the next one came. An hour later. XD
She forgot to bring my GameCube, and I got plenty of reading done on the bus. Four hundred and fifty pages now stand between me and the end of SoT. Dun dun DUN.
