•The Mets lost yesterday, 7-4. While that sucks on its own, especially after the DH split (stupid Braves; we can NEVER best them!), it sucks more because the three-game lead of a few days ago has been reduced to one. It's gonna be a fight all the way down to the wire and I'm upset that I CAN'T WATCH ANY OF IT. However, David Wright's CONCENTRATEY FAISE amuses the hell out of me. Thank you, Lou, for noticing that he's got his tongue stuck out in, like, EVERY picture. Major lulz. (He hit two homeruns and they STILL LOST. I'm probably going to my grave hating the Braves. And when the hell was it sunny? I saw nothing but clouds all day!)

•The Michaels where I work is in a shopping center, with many conveniently-located stores (i.e., they're places where I would buy things). Not so conveniently located was Boston Market, and they had to shut their doors early after someone opened them rather wide: with a car. Apparently, someone drove through the storefront (I don't know why). I had no clue until I went on my break with the intention of getting something to drink. Patrons were standing outside watching the non-goings-on (it was pretty boring while I was there), and I ignored it all, except to find out what happened, and got my tea.

•Very attractive young man at the framing counter yesterday and Saturday, and he asked me for help. It was cool, and we had a bit to talk about, since he went to Stony Brook, and he couldn't decide on colors and made the whole process a lot more difficult than it could have been. Any attractiveness, however, was cancelled out by the fact that he walked in about FIFTEEN MINUTES before the store was set to close, and I had to see his order through to the end. I WAS CLEANING. D:

•Speaking of work, the store closed at seven last night, which is awesome, as that's an hour before any store in the mall would close on Sundays. However, I didn't appreciate being stuck there until a quarter to nine -- fifteen minutes longer than any store in the mall would have liked its employees there -- and getting home at ten on the nose. I decided that I'm submitting a notice to change my availability: the latest I will ever be stuck in that store is eight o'clock, and if they don't like that, then they can call home and take it up with MY MOTHER. I challenge anyone to win that fight.

•I worked eight hours and twenty minutes yesterday. That's twenty minutes of OT. I'd better not get yelled at for something that's not my fault. (Oh, and I didn't leave in tears. I arrived in them, but I didn't leave. So... that's an improvement? (Either way, this still fails to be worth my time.))

•I'm a mod on the LP forums. :D Yay! I'm glad that I'm already familiar with the rules of modding and that this won't be too much of a stretch from what I already know (more retail gigs should be like that).

•People look at me funny when I'm practicing dansu (not that I care; I'm gonna be internet famous and they're not so NYEH). I've got earbuds in, and I'm looking up in concentration (so I don't get distracted by whatever's going on in front of me), so I'm very obviously listening to something only I can hear. Singing along should be more of an indication. XD Anyway, I've almost got Tell Me -- at least, one version of it -- and maybe I can get in some practice this week. HEY ERICA WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY?

•Olua sent me a post, which I think is THE most interesting thing. Seriously. LEFT FIELD. (But it wasn't even very long, lol. I started writing back my usual thousand words when I was like "Wait. Why am I trying?" I don't know what she's going to get back. I just might be spiteful. XD)

Today is Monday, and what will probably be a terribly boring day. I can't wait until Thursday, when I can sleep and play games clean? :/
