A day late.
Apr. 2nd, 2009 10:32 pmThank you, Universe, for not dumping all this on me on April Fool's Day.
•I clocked in an hour late for work, and out nearly half. Not that I care so much, but I did feel bad that Mike had to clear so many boxes by himself (Thursday is truck day).
•I was obscenely tired ALL DAY.
•Coming back from IKEA, Guillermo and I got on the wrong shuttle, that took us on a whirlwind tour of Brooklyn, and managed to pass, like, EVERY SPOT Phill and I had ever been (ending with Tech's radio tower visible in the distance).
•An e-mail. I ... I don't even know.
The upside to this day was that, at IKEA, I discovered the loft beds. The aluminum one was really flimsy, as expected, and shook when I leaned against it. UM NO. The other, sturdier one, was okay, but I was still concerned about height, until I got the brilliant idea to find a drill, put some extra holes in the bedposts to lower the bed (because I don't need ALL sixty-five inches under it), and get a thin mattress. The mattress I have right now, while awesome, has needed replacement for some time, and wouldn't fit in the loft bed anyway. So I think I'm going to go ahead with that one.
Furthermore, it's black and white, so I can save money by getting the black and white shelves and shit to go with it. Yay, not paying an extra thirty bucks for no reason!
ALSO, MEATBALLS.
I'm going try to soak away my worries now. =_=
