Even though I'm missing Anime Boston (the Yankees aren't playing there this weekend but the METS ARE), I have but two regrets: Alex didn't make the mp3 Experiment, and Seto didn't tag along afterwards. Otherwise, it was pretty fucking mythic.

Kitten!

On Tuesday, Mom and Dad went back to court to fight for visitation with Jaquan and Akayla (this is another story that I don't really wanna go into). They won, so the kids are supposed to be here every Sunday between nine and six. This morning, Matthew was in the garage looking for their bicycles when he heard a mewing. He emptied (and subsequently cleaned) the entire garage looking for the cat, which turned out to be an adorable little kitten.

He fed it. The poor thing was starving, which is why it was mewing so much. I called a bunch of my friends who own cats for help (thanks, you guys), and we gave the kitten a rub with a washcloth. We left some milk and water out for it, and it eventually came out from its hiding spot under the bed to get some water.

Matthew later determined it was a girl and about six weeks old (though from my description, Olua says about four or five months. I have no freaking idea). She's an adorable fuzzy little thing, mostly black with white socks, belly, and a little spot on her nose, and gorgeous green eyes. AND. She didn't make me sneeze or itch. That's the best part. (Also, Noel didn't freak out when Matt brought her in.)

The kitten doesn't have a name yet, so I've taken to calling her Kitten for now, and Matt kinda sorta wants to keep her (I'm going to guess that tune will change when he has to clean up after Kitten tomorrow morning). But yeah. We've got a cat. ♥
