Now for the real post: I AM TIRED. XD I was up until four in the morning icing cookies and subsequently cleaning the kitchen (for the second time in a span of eight hours. Seriously, family, WTF. Stop being pigs). But the cookies are CUTE (I'd have pictures but I have nothing that can read an SD card), even if the tin foil stuck to some of them and they have to be redone (fortunately, none of the pain-in-the-ass ones; I'd've DIED if I had to redo Spain (especially because he came out SO CUTE OMFG), but just the stripey ones like Germany and Hungary). UNFORTUNATELY I still have to do the sign and finish the other half of the cookies, because I only got two dozen done. Stupid dough hardening to rock-like consistency in the fridge and then refusing to thaw in a timely fashion!

Things I learned yesterday: •straight corn syrup, despite its being pure sugar, TASTES REALLY GROSS. I can't be blamed, at three in the morning, for thinking the icing on my fingers was frosting, so I sucked on them. BIG MISTAKE. XD
•do not make cookies if it's not your day off. It's an all-day affair.
•let the icing sit in the fridge for a million hours before attempting to apply a different color.
•two measly drops of yellow food coloring turn everything to egg-yolk-color. It's REALLY CREEPY.
•taking off your shirt means no food debris will think about coming close to you. Leaving it on means the opposite.
•apply the blue for UK first. Not the white.
•my dad thinks flag cookies are a cute idea. Except for those bastard commie countries, they can go die. XD
