Insomnia fucking sucks, so you know.
Dec. 5th, 2009 07:58 amI don't know what's happened, but I've been miserable and zombie-like all week. Three, four hours of sleep for no decent reason, other than I just stay up because I'm not tired.
Yesterday, something glorious happened: I started nodding off before eleven. This was doubly spectacular because I had only gotten home around 9:30. Yes, just an hour and I was ready to go to sleep. But somehow, after leaving my room for a quick minute (to return my dinner plate to the kitchen for washing), I was wide awake. I don't know how, and I don't know why, because I really wanted to go to sleep.
And then David showed up. And he and Matthew were playing video games. I had to tell them to turn it down. D: But still, I couldn't sleep.
I wound up drugging myself around one in the morning. I'm pretty sure it worked, but because today's Mokucon, and Esmeralda's gonna be here in, oh, about an hour, I still have to get up and dressed as though I were getting ready for work. Truth to tell, I don't know if the six hours of sleep (SIX! OMG LUXURY!) was better than the three: I know I'll be out like a light in the car (god willing, three spics and a nigra don't make for quiet, lol), for one thing, and you know how when you only do something half-assed, it's sometimes worse than spending no time on it at all? YEAH.
Fuck tea, Arthur needs some damn coffee this morning. :|
