Cosplay woes. D:

I have no idea what the hell this pattern's been going on about (not to mention a piece ~*magically*~ appearing in the illustrations before I was told to attach it... come to think of it, I don't think I was ever told to), but I've been trying to figure it out since about noonish, maybe one, and have recently given up in favor of doing it my way. And you know what? My way got it done in about fifteen minutes. I'm really damn sick of this pattern, and I never want to use it again. SO FRUSTRATING.
On the bright side, the jacket is coming along swimmingly, and I will have pictures posted by the end of tonight (Monday). It might get finished, save the lining, so I'm keeping my fingers pleasantly crossed. And if I ever again go "WTF" while playing with this thing, I'mma back up and do it my way and get it fucking overwith. I'll need more fabric for the pants (augh), but pants are easy, so I'm not worried at all.
I'm even angrier about this than I am about losing Tuesday.
