Yeah, I think this'll be the last one.

Wow, there is nothing I want to do at Otakon this year (seriously, only four panels look interesting. Four. I'm probably skipping most of the Hetalia junk -- sorry guys, I love you -- because it'll be too fangirly and moblike and you know I hate that shit). $65 to spend the weekend coloring and making paper dolls (AND TWINKIE SUSHI) in Otachan? Yeah, no thanks, not doing this anymore. Otakon's been on a steady trend of failing to keep my interest since 2007, and last year, I ran into only ONE person I don't normally see at local cons (HI espsquier!).

The lineup is as follows: (maybe sporty!Canada on Thursday, in my newly-completed shirt; I wanna show it off for an hour lol) Venusaur on Friday, Seychelles on Saturday, Fire Nation!Toph on Sunday.

I think the best part? Will be the frantic race to Baltimore; hopefully we can get there before the line closes. So, um, yeah. ... I really hope I'm pleasantly surprised.

I've been thinking about the appropriate way to break more awesome news for the past three hours, but fuck it because I need to finish packing. I'll just say it:

TOKYOPOP e-mailed us today. They said they'll be in town on Monday and asked us to perform for them. :O So that's two performances we've got lined up for next week: Monday at 11, and Thursday at 3:30. We don't know where we'll be performing yet (as that seems to be the one thing we don't have, a place to practice), but we ARE doing it! If I can find out details quickly enough, I'll let you all know. And keep an eye out on this post because I'll edit it later with the video that ichiP! made yesterday announcing the NHK thing (if it's in or around the city, it'd be really awesome if you could show up and support us).

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with my suitcase (who still doesn't have a name. I miss Dominic. XD).
