Venus, go to sleep.
Jan. 18th, 2011 02:49 amYesterday -- Sunday -- at karaoke for Kiera's birthday was great. At Em's and Es' request, I pulled out my cheapo Spain cosplay (read: a t-shirt that says "だまれ -国王" on it and a flag signboard that says volume three is on sale) to complete The Trio. I was pretty bummed out at first, from a hellish commute and a bedroom that took an ungodly amount of time to clean, but I cheered up eventually. Don't know what did it, but I was happy. :D Which I should have been!
There was lots of food: spaghetti and meatballs, vegetables with dip, dumplings, cupcakes! I must have eaten about four cupcakes and I had to stop myself from eating all the vegetables because I would have (tomatoes and carrots and peppers, oh my!). I paid for it later when I felt so sick, but I enjoyed the eating part, which is what's important. |D
After karaoke, The Trio skipped the usual trip to Goodburger to go to my place and get my overnight stuff, then to Es' for the night, as we were meant to drive Emily back to Albany today. We crawled into bed about one o'clock, dead tired. This morning, we stayed in bed bullshitting and watching stupid videos. It was three o'clock (and we were still in our pajamas) when Emily remembered she had practice tonight, and we should have been going. And so we did.
We also went twenty miles out of the way in Kingston just to go to Sonic. It was worth it, especially once we ( settled back into character. )
So we got Emily at her dorm back okay, and said hi to most of her suitemates, and we were on our merry way once again. I drove all the way home, but there were dumbasses in the passing lane, so I couldn't go and make the awesome time that I usually do. But I got home all right, and just after ten, and that's the important part.
Work tomorrow, an orientation. I might have Wednesday off because of the two orientations on Thursday. This week is going to be fun. But hey, sewing party this weekend, woohoo! No pictures to speak of tonight, though, since I did all that bullshitting. I had a good weekend, but it really is bedtime now. XD
