It was fine when I got up this morning, when I left for work (I covered for Jimmy today since he covered for me last week). When I came home, it was off, and I figured that maybe I just kicked the cord on the way out and it ran on battery until it died. Of course, I turned it back on and it just ... quit.
So it starts but only for a moment before it just dies. I think it's the battery? If it were the board that's fried (heaven forbid), it wouldn't even start up, right? I think the battery's just shot and can't hold the charge. It has been overheating for no reason lately.... So this means two things: one, I will be scarce for a while (and bored out of my fucking skull). Two, I have no idea where to get a new battery. The place where I bought it? I didn't get a warranty or anything (and the one it came with was only for a year; I've had this thing nineteen months).
It's the weekend. I just came from work, which is near where I bought this stupid thing. And the family computer is loaded with shit I don't feel like wasting my time on so it's hella slow and the connection drops and augh (oh god it just turned off for no reason, too. WHAT IS GOING ON). If it ain't one thing, it's another.
Fucking looooong ass-weekend. And my family's here. Mom's family, so they're tolerable, but LOUD. But I'm tired so hopefully I can get a nap in? If Analese will be quiet....
