Jun. 20th, 2011 06:59 pm•Have been playing with Dad's netbook all weekend (it's hard to type on this thing so forgive any typos I don't catch), and will take Tosh with me to the city tomorrow. I hope he's not too bent out of shape....
•Just watched the Game of Thrones finale. ... Yup, I'm definitely rereading that bookas soon as I'm done rereading Ender's Game because my cousin and I had a hivemind thing going.
•Picnic this Saturday! I think I'm bringing salads of both the pasta and fruit variety. FUCK YES CANTALOUPE. I would bring just cantaloupe, but I love things like kiwifruit and strawberries and cherries too much to just leave them at the store. They'll look at me with sad eyes until I take them homeand devour their souls.
•Okay, okay, okay. I get it, reddit. Boston won and the riots were beyond mortifying, but please shut up: it's been five days. D: Love, Venus.

tl;dr - Mets finally have something good going, Yankees always have to one-up. That's why I don't like them! This makes me feel a little better, though.
•BTW family was awesome, but someone's perfume or cat or something triggered a BAD allergy attack so I drugged myself... and didn't wake up until after everyone had gone. D: I missed the whole thing! I did manage to get video of my 88-year-old grandmother singing karaoke to Besame Mucho. It's HILARIOUS.
