Monday, I did the Girl Scout thing. Tuesday, I went to the Rangers game. Yesterday I stayed home (it was Pi Day, though; I've got 101 digits still memorized. Down from the 250+ I had in high school, but not bad for a dozen years later), but today I went to the city with Es first thing in the morning to wait for 55-cent curry at the new Go! Go! Curry location near Washington Square Park (right near the F train, super convenient). Tomorrow, Es and I are heading down to Philly to meet up with someone in our Pokertalia cosplay group so we can get coordinating and matching fabrics for our cosplays. Possibly another game on Monday, and next weekend is Abi's bridal shower; CPAC the week after that, and Anime Boston the week after that, hanging out with Lynda during Passover shortly after returning from Boston. Whew! @_@

New young trees are being planted on 199th between 104th and 109th Aves. (and a couple on the south end of this block, too), which is awesome because the sun hits the east side of the street hard in the summer, and it's never fun to walk that long stretch with no protection. There was a new tree in front of nearly every house (including one to replace the giant tree that fell during Hurricane Irene), so there'll be lots of cover and trees are always a good thing anyway. :D There are even a couple of trees being planted on 100th Ave., two in front of my house! Unfortunately, all the cranes and diggers and stuff are making it impossible for me to take the nap that I need from not having gotten any sleep last night (thanks for waking me up, Bradley. I'm sure the nothing you were barking at was very serious). I do wish they would plant maple trees instead of whatever these are, though, because I love big, broad, leafy maple trees, even if they fuck me up for a couple of weeks while they're flowering. I miss the red maple we had, and the one with the giant root you could comfortably sit on.... There are still a couple around in front of other houses but it's not the same, man.

Penguins at the Garden tonight, with that jerk Crosby back in their lineup. I hope someone slams his stupid face into the boards; he's such a little baby. Hopefully the Rangers can shut him and the rest of the Penguins down, put some good distance between them in the ATL, and continue the good vibes they've got on the homestand so far. #LGR
