Precisely one year ago today...

At this very moment, I was on a plane to Seattle, en route to Vancouver. I'd travelled alone before, but I always met someone once I got to my destination: this was my first trip completely and entirely alone, and out of the country no less! It was exciting and scary at the same time.

It was also tiring. It was over in the blink of an eye. But above all, it was AMAZING and I loved every second of it: meeting the deaf guy, touristy behavior, the hockey game, my wallet full of heavy coins, meeting someone from Austria and introducing her to oatmeal, walking everywhere, getting caught in the rain, the mountains and parks and bayside, the market, almost missing my flight home. I miss you, Vancouver. I don't know when, but I'll be back.
