I mean, on the bright side, it means that Halloween is next month! On the not-so-bright side, i's gon' git col'.

So the Sexy Party was lots of fun. I even helped Michele with her VisCom homework, like, lots, and Adrienne is ever-adorable. All of ichiP! just rocks. We really do. (Michele thinks GAME is awesome; I told her to BUY A COPY already. XD)

However, Maryellen wasn't around when I woke up in the middle of the night, nor when I woke up again around nine. I suffered from a bit of sleep paralysis (when your brain wakes up before your body does; you're conscious, but you can't move, or it's more difficult than it should be. It's called "you're still tired, go back to sleep.") and heard her shuffling around about ten, but that was it. Apparently, for whatever reasons, she was not thrilled about the Sexy Party. D: I hope things work out okay over there.

I passed out after watching some Avatar. (OH SNAP IT'S KATARA BLAINE!!!) I hadn't seen it, as I promised Laura I would, so I got through the first two episodes, but only barely. I meant to watch more today, but I'm seriously doing research. Research for my Halloween costume, but it's still research!

All I've been doing otherwise is reading. I got through the MEMW quiz material. Apparently, it's not Jesus who was responsible for almost all the stuff Christians believe. It seems that this other dude Paul was the culprit. How did seventeen years of getting dragged to church every Sunday NEVER teach me that, but a couple of paragraphs on a subway ride to Brooklyn make it crystal clear? WTF? (Summary: Rome fell, Augustus fooled the hell out of everyone, the principate changed hands a bajillion times (five were spared murder and other not-nice things), Jesus happened, and then Christians have been picked on ever since.)

And in almost-modern America, black people didn't know what to do with themselves.

Then I've got to read all this shit again to make sure I understand it because it's history and I'm horrible at it. Even though I know what's going on NOW, there's no guarantee that I'll remember it all in four days' time.

Oh and Laura and I went fabric shopping. WE FOUND OUR STRAWBERRIES. We walked around forever but we got the strawberries and now we can start working on the outfits~~~~

I'm getting kinda tired now.... whee.

Yeah...Paul was an ass. If I'm a Christian, it's on account of the Gospels. All those letters, not so much. They're pretty much What's Wrong With the Catholic Church (TM).
