In happier bits, Lynda just invited me to an Islanderps game this Sunday afternoon, and it's against the Derpvils. I would love to go, but I'll ironically be at Laura's. If it were an evening game, there'd be a possibility, but for a 3:00 game, I'd have to leave her place at like eleven in the morning and I doubt we'll even be awake then. And I'd just be trollin' anyway in my Rangers jersey. :3c Woulda been nice, though. Seats are in a suite (and for free!) and I haven't seen Lynda in forever besides.

Ooooh, and the dance shot for Heroine was posted. :D I'll have the whole thing solid by tonight. Work on Jiriri, Venus, holy shit.

I'm busy at work. This is new and interesting and I don't mind! :O

Not that I'm not grateful to be a guest again, let's clear that up right now. But a thirty-minute time slot? And, according to Erica, in a room and not on a stage? [The play is under review.] You've got to be kidding me. *rubs temples*

The schedule so far is:

♪Friday, October 8: 5:45 - 6:15 PM
♪Sunday, October 10: 11:45 AM - 12:15 PM

They are both performances. They'll have to be. :/

This is so ridiculous! Not only is thirty minutes not enough time to teach anything -- we make sure everyone walks out knowing the dance -- but it's not enough time to give a good, quality performance, either, which is a far more pressing issue.

On top of that, there are time restriction issues. Erica and Laura preferred if we didn't perform at all on Sunday (I don't care), and that didn't happen. But more obvious is that we're not performing on Saturday. That's a restriction we had two years ago, when Michele was being super-observant, but one we didn't have, what, four months later? And, okay, last year we didn't perform on Saturday, but I figured that was a coincidence; sometimes these things can't be helped. Now we're not going on Saturday again? *chinstroke* Suspicious. ¬_¬

I know the con is combining NYAF and NYCC, so there should be less time for more stuff in the same space, right (though I was of the understanding that the cons would be in the entire convention center. I know for a fact there's an upstairs: that's where the auto show is!)? But you remember when I predicted that this merger would be the end of NYAF and I didn't give it to 2013? Yeaaaaaah. I didn't have this in mind, but it supports my argument. :/ Updates as they come.
