Soon it will be Christmas Day...
Dec. 18th, 2004 10:53 pmNice long sleep last night.... ahhhh, 11 AM. Thoroughly enjoyed. ^_^ Watched TV, played video games (91 Skulltulas and I know where the other nine are!! I'm missing five Heart Pieces now, but I only know where two of them are. DAMMIT) and lounged. It's beautiful not having anything to do. I took my time getting in the shower, getting dressed, getting to the mall.
Christmas shopping. I found gifts for everyone except for Phill and Lynda. I didn't find Ingrid's Egg-friend, either, but I got her a card to explain how very out-of-stock they were. So, what did I get everyone? Well, I got my mom candles like I said last time. I got my dad a desk calendar instead of the handkerchief; no way I was going to find that. And Dad could use a little humor in his day. Got JJ a shirt and pants at the GAP. I think they'll look cute on him. Shaina got -- oh crap, I can't say that in case she reads it. :X You'll find out soon enough, love, and I know you'll like it. I was inspired by your pink birthday shawl thing. Let's see, who else? Sandy got Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, Katie -- crap, I can't say that either. You'll like yours, too, Katie. Lemme just say, I felt really foul buying it. I couldn't believe I'd spent my hard-earned money on THAT. LOL, just kidding, you know I love you. Olua, I got the other half of your present... not originally what I was going to get, but you'll like it nonetheless. What else.... oh. Rachel and Gen got Christmas and birthday cards, respectively, because I honestly couldn't think of what to get them (though, in retrospect, I should get Gen ********* something. She'd love that). I think that's all.
Then, well, now, I'm at Corona. Christmas party-type stuff. And honestly? It's pretty boring. I spent a while hiding in a corner because I'm all antisocial, then Matt showed up and I started to loosen up. But now... they're playing some stupid game (for money, which I don't do) in the next room. And the rules are so mindnumbingly simple, that it shouldn't matter if you're drunk. you should still be able to understand them. I need to get home before I'm here all night and I miss Fullmetal Alchemist. I need to find out what happens to Nina. o_O
